In this part of my website, I publish essays on a regular basis about subjects that matter to me. Many of them deal with academia, particularly life as a First-Generation Academic, while others reflect on education, culture, and life more generally. Although there might occasionally be texts related to my research, the purpose of these essays is not primarily to produce citable content, but simply to provide a space for reflection. I generally publish one essay on the first day of every month, although there might sometimes be the occasional piece in between. And, of course, life also has a habit of getting in the way.
